37 Studios is located in suburban metro-Detroit in the city of Rochester Hills, MI approximately 25 minutes north of the city of Detroit. Rochester Hills is an extremely safe upper middle class community, and our studio is tucked modestly into a quiet industrial complex. A 24 hour Speedway gas station is directly across the street providing a wide variety of food and drink even during late night sessions. Other ammenities within walking distance include McDonalds, Burger King, Buscemi's Pizza, Rio Wraps, Subway, Jets Pizza, Little Ceasars Pizza, Quiznos, Bigby Coffee, Taco Bell, Sukho Thai (our favorite!!!), as well as many bars, restaurants, bowling alleys, etc. We are located within walking distance of the Concorde Inn which we have a discount rate available to our clients staying to record with us for a period of time from out of town.

We are also within short driving distance to a variety of malls and movie theaters and other entertainment.

But on to our facility...

The studio is a 4000+ sq ft recording complex with 4 separate, fully functional control rooms providing massive flexibility to run multiple sessions comfortable every day. Our two main control rooms are equipped with state of the art Amek Consoles included the reknown Amek Mozart RN designed by Rupert Neve. The control rooms overlook a spacious live room great for live tracking full bands, orchestras, choirs, etc. Control rooms 3 and 4 are specifically designed for mixing and overdub tracking and are connected to dedicated booths for maximum versatility for multiple sessions running simultaneously each day without bleedover. Our owners are hands on producer engineers, and we encourage freelance engineers to utilize our space for their clients as well.

Our goal is to provide world class recording quality at an extremely affordable price. We exist happily with the basement and bedroom studios of the area and encourage bands and artists to record here by having rates that are extremely competitive with the smaller operations.
Our clients often move on to record deals and notable success globally. While we do not guarantee this level of success for every project we put the same amount of effort and passion in to each and every recording to give everyone the same opportunity with their music!
